About the Journal

The Moon: Jurnal Ilmu Falak, Astronomi, Sains dan Syariah is published by the Asosiasi Dosen Falak Indonesia (ADFI) which provides both online and printed publication. The Moon: Jurnal Ilmu Falak, Astronomi, Sains dan Syariah disseminates scholarly studies and research findings related to Islamic astronomy (‘ilm al-falak), astronomy, science, and their relation to Sharia. The Moon: Jurnal Ilmu Falak, Astronomi, Sains dan Syariah publishes three issues a year in April, August, and December. The editorial board invites researchers, scholars, and academics to publish the results of their original research through a peer review process. Submitted manuscripts will first be evaluated by the editor and section editors. If the manuscript aligns with the journal’s scope, it will be forwarded to reviewers in a double-blind review process. Reviewed manuscripts will be returned to authors for revisions if necessary. The journal accepts manuscripts written in either Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic, or English.
